Colorado ARES/Rocky Mountain Ham DMR System MoU

Colorado ARES benefits from our relationship with Rocky Mountain Ham Radio through their development and maintenance of the RM Ham linked DMR system. CO ARES and RM Ham have maintained a Memorandum of Understanding for CO ARES’ use of the RMH linked system of DMR repeaters for a number of years.

The MoU between Colorado ARES and RMH was updated and signed by both parties the week of 11 April, 2022. The updated MoU provides instruction for CO ARES District to request use of the system for training, exercises, public service events, and emergencies. As the RM Ham is a statewide system, coordination of the resource is necessary to ensure efficient use.
